The official statewide magazine of Georgia’s engineering industry, Engineering Georgia, has named Jennifer Young, project engineer at RK&K, one of their 50 Notable Women for 2022.

Jennifer Young | Project Engineer | Atlanta, GA
According to the publication, this award “is a celebration of engineering and land development professionals who have significantly contributed to the industry over the previous 12 months. These women are recognized by their peers for their dedication, innovation, and leadership as engineers, planners, strategists, and civic leaders.”
“The future of infrastructure starts before the university career fair; it starts by supporting educators and sharing what we do with K-12 students”
“I’m honored to be named one of the 50 notable women alongside such amazing leaders in my community,” said Jennifer regarding the win.
“I hope this recognition gives me the opportunity to engage others in our industry in pre-college outreach. We lose the majority of our workforce before students even go to college, selecting other extracurriculars and paths of study over civil engineering. The future of infrastructure starts before the university career fair; it starts by supporting educators and sharing what we do with K-12 students.”
Young was recently recognized as the 2022 Young Engineer of the Year by the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers (GSPE).
